Jinsha Jiang is the name of the Yangtze in the Yunnan province. The Jinsha Jiang First Bend is the name of a horseshoe shape bend near the Benzilan town. It is of course not literally the first bend of the Jinsha Jiang. It is famous because it is visible from the main road, nonetheless the view is breathtaking and unparalleled.

Dongzhulin Temple is 22km north of Benzilan and is the second largest Tibetan temple in Yunnan. The temple is located below the main road in a gully with a backdrop of dry mountain. There are about 300 monks in the monastery.
